Passout time... opinions

On Jan 14, 2005 the Melbourne Beats crew along with some 700+ people raised around $17,000 for the Asia Quake & Tsunami appeal. This forum is an archive of the organisational discussion for the event.

Passout time... opinions

Post by Ani »

Just wondering if we are going to give everyone a passout stamp as soon as they pay, or make them wait til a certain time? If we are makingthem wait, what time? opinions please (writing up procedures...)

I don't think there's any need to keep them inside until a certain time.

Anyone else feel differently?

I don't think there's really any need ... depends how many people I think. Problem with having passouts early is that it can clog up the entrance area with people coming in/waiting to come in and people streaming out as well ... can piss off the bouncers a little too.

But I'd want passouts asap, I like my fresh air inbetween boogying ;)

in my opinion can't be before midnight....
door flow will be screwed.
it'd be very hard for an experienced door person to deal with let alone with volunteers who haven't done much / any door work before...
i reckon 12.30 would be ideal for this night...
