Mayyyyte. Ye can't say that. Roger has worked long and hard with Goldie over the last few years, organising his tours and looking after him.

It doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Don't get me wrong, obviously I think Dan is the shit, but I don't think you can really make a comment like that.

Personally I think AO's right on the money, Motive always hits a note with me where Blanco is very up and down...I'm sure he will admit that as well.
This will be awesome..Hitting the Vodka already

hmmm,

going to leave the above comments alone. I think Georgia has said it all.

ANYWAY,

Here's the final line up, due to promotional commitments Blanco won't be playing tonight ( happy Mr. Orange / diode ? )

10 - 11: Joe seven
11 - 12: Motive
12 - 1: JPS
1 - 2.30: SUB-FOCUS
2.30 - 5.30: GOLDIE & MC LOWQUI
5.30 - Close: Joe Seven

Nice one, who's round is it?

No No, Blanco is great when he hits his mark...His set at 33 and a third easter time a couple of years ago is a good example.
No disrespect intended.

Golds got the whole place rockin like a cradle..lowqui just hung in the crowd with a wireless mic and did his thing whilst gettin his boogie down action with just about every fit woman in the house.

Was a bit sober ish so left soon after the set.. cant comment on the rest but as far as goldie and lowqui go was a pretty amazing set of metalheadz.. id reccomend it to anyone."

Fucking insane party, best i've been to in a long time.

Subfocus smashed it... rad tunes, rad mixing. Mad dancefloor killers minus the cheese. I've said it before, but Airplane (first track) and Verano (third track) are absolute killers. And Baron - At The Drive In!!! Purrdy!!!!

And Goldie? The man is King.
Ripped seven shades o' shit outta that place. Such a class DJ. Started off nice, and then just got hard as nails. Metalheadz has got some pure badness lined up. That new Amit (i'm assuming it's him) is BADAZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Klute - Hell Hath No Fury MASHED the place!
So long in the game and still pushing the boundaries. Hats off old man!

I thought Lowqui was a dope MC too. Knew when to shut his yap, knew how to work the audience, and ADDED to the music rather than TAKING from it. Love how he spent half the night just walking around the venue busting an afro wig with a wireless mic. Dude was a classic!

Didn't drink much as I was driving, so I left at about 4:30-45. Good to see the usual familiar faces out there, plus ace to meet some new ones, Ms Cheeks (finally!), Damo, and wicked to see Mel and Ollie there even though they spent half the night laughing at me for posing like a model.

BIGUPS ELEMENTZ!!! And bigups to all in attendance.

Subfocus ... bwoy. Awesome. Script everything Hardy said. Didn't dance all that much but goddamn it was an awesome set.

Goldie... Not as impressive, to be honest. He started off really really strong but the last hour of the set sounded kinda samey to me.

Lowqui... excellent MC. Again Hardy has said everything.
Hardy wrote:...and wicked to see Mel and Ollie there even though they spent half the night laughing at me for posing like a model.
Poppycock  Mel spent like... 2 hours abusing me for nothing in particular. The model thing was only a drop in the ocean compared to the crap i copped. Everything from "I can't believe you can't use chopsticks" to "You know, I tell people that you can't speak chinese. Sooner or later somebody's going to come up to you and go 'hey you're mecka, you can't speak chinese' and you're just going to have to sit there and take it".

LOL

Mellogs you are seriously one of the funniest people I have ever met.

Also:
Ticket to Goldie/Subfocus: $30
Drinks: $20
The look on Liz's face when she saw that threesome kiss: Priceless.

Good to catch up with AC23, AO, ficks, fents and various other assorted crew.

Also... this girl came up to me and goes "man, repect to asians in d&b. asian pride...". Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. I may be asian but please don't believe for a second that I subscribe to that asian pride crap. It's pretty much an exercise in ego inflation. You don't see white people walking around going "yeh man... caucasian pride" - so leave me the hell alone with that crap. I don't care.

Another fucking wikkid gig in Melbourne Town.

Biggups ESC!!!!

Motive had the place jumpin such a dope warmup set, then JPS got on and smashed it. Fuck boys i was so feeling both sets, so much dubby dnb goodness... mad props.

Subfocus Nailed it! Fuck i love his choons just sooo much energy! And his mixing....well fuck Andy C might not have a job next year.

Goldie still reins supreme!!!! What a legened! Tunes galore and you could tell he was getting into it.

My girl was so drunk and felt crook (no wonder 5 tequila shots will do that silly!) so had to cut it short....But kept getting Messages fro Rainer about tunes being dropped!!! GUTTED i missed Cutslo Remix amd Inner City Life :(

Oh and speaking of my mate Rainer i dunno if anyone has meet or saw him there on Fri night but hes got two tatto's one on each arm. A MetalHeadz Logo which Goldie saw and flipped out at...BOH...But a RAM RECORDS logo on the other arm - apparentlly subfocus saw it and its going to be on the cover of his next 12" release on RAM...hahaha how dope is that!!

Good to see al the usual suspects about esp Rux and Fiend!!

All in all a mental night was loving the vibes. 8)

Dan - Oh my god, TC - Dub night?? It sounds completely different with lots of vocals and robot bleeps in the intro...noooot the saaame.

Subfocus had the version with the plain heavy drum intro... that was mentall..with the amen-ish breakdown. The breakdown on the dub I just listened to sounds completely different than the one subf played...!

Please don't tell me this is the final cut? http://www.dubrecordings.com/dub_player ... ub001a.mp3

It will break my little heart. :tard:

I unfortunately had to leave due to random onset of sickness.

Was loving Goldie's tunes tho, specially all the new Commix.

The next headz album is going to be the badness!!

thanks Fents  man i was so trashed i went from wanting to go slap her down, to then wanting to join her to then heading off to the other side of the stage to show her up (this being what i thought i was doing) fuck i was far too wasted. have to thank Claire at the bar who i used to party with back in the old days. She doubled every drink i ordered, needless to say the result was.....well yeah....ummm interesting!

JPS you rocked it man, loved your track selection for sure! :D 8) :D Really really made the night start well!

Subfocus blew my mind!!! So impressed with that young lad. And so did Goldie, i think??? :? i think i found it more funny that he was checking out sweetcheeks and kept checking with me as to where she was and then getting all embarrassed when I would point to where she had disappeared. What a fuckin classic

Great to see everyone, sorry to anyone that I said inappropriate shit too. Wow what a night...got there just as JPS started, awesome set from him I have to say...then Subfocus ripped it, awesome tunes and mixing...then the man Goldie, great to see one if the legends tearing it up and doing it well, and seeming to love every minute of it. Lowqui was dope too, I was a mess by the end tho :D

Big ups Elementz,
Party of the year.....
