(i thought it was going to take ages)

Also feeling a lot more in the groove with uni this semester. I've been all over the place over the last 2 weeks and now i feel like i'm back on track

BUOTD: heard this from a mate last night...

a mutual friend of ours has a sister that recently got married. not long after the wedding our friend heard that the new hubby was being less than nice to his sister (without going into detail).
So, our mate takes him on an early morning fishing trip in a very secluded part of country Victoria, just the 2 of them and proceeds to tell the new hubby EXACTLY how he's gonna treat his sister from now on. No if's or buts about it.

He's being nice now

I was just trying to imagine myself in that person's shoes. I've never been married, so I don't know if it changes some people. I've only seen it change my friends when the kids come along and their old lifestyle goes out the window.

big ups to the helsinki reggae festival. spent the night dancing my arse off to awesome reggae (if you ever get the chance to see the bashment kingz from estonia, do so) on an awesome outdoor terrace a couple of floors up, right in the middle of the city. which also means we got the beats while in line.

i'd played footy earlier on in the day, so I had to go home early on account of my legs continually cramping, and my feet being quite horribly sliced up. ow.

My mum, aunties and uncles are regulars down at the Watsonia RSL. The times I have had dinner there I have observed that the 'ladies' there have no fear or shame when it comes to the lads. Quite impressive really.

No you dont have to pay to play. Its playing for points. All you have to do is sign up to www.australianpokerleague.com and you can play at any of the APL nights. Tuesday is watsonia rsl, Wednesday id Templestowe hotel and there are a fair few others around. Croxton Park Hotel and stuff. You sign up, play with real chips but only for points to get into the state league finals etc.
