sif pay by cheque. possibly the most archaic and frustrating form of payment known to man. it shits me to tears when people pay by cheque. not only do you have to take it to a post office, you have to wait 5 business days for it to clear. fuck that. what's wrong with direct debit?

I've just missed out on a job composing music for a marketing company promotion because they couldn't decide what kind of music they wanted! Would have been some pretty good cash for just cranking out some tunes...

not sure how paying by cheque will help your cashflow...
you might be better off trying to negotiate a later settlement. or pay by credit card.

cost of goods = $2500

cash in bank = less than $2500

client pays = by cheque

I pick up the goods, pay by cheque, drop them off & collect a cheque.

If I could've paid by credit card or negotiated longer terms don't you think I would've done that?

btw - my cheques don't take 5 days to clear, never have. They're cleared instantly and if it bounces they just take the money back (never happened)

Kugalis wrote:1 lb. bacon

10 lbs. Idaho potatoes

Cut bacon up fine and cook in large skillet. Chop onion and cook in same skillet, moving bacon to one side. Cook onion until yellow, do not brown. Set aside.

Shred potatoes in food processor. (Hint: To keep potatoes from getting brown or dark, drain off liquid as you shred 2 or 3 potatoes and immediately soak the drained potatoes in the condensed milk.)

Beat the eggs and stir into the potato mixture. Add salt. Add bacon, onion, together with drippings. Stir well.

Pour mixture into large casserole dish and bake for 1 hour at 350. Drippings will rise to top, but will form a crust on top and all around. After 1 hour, remove from oven. Serve with sour cream. Leftovers may be sliced and fried in butter. To make less, cut recipe in half. Serves 12-14.

my mociute and my mum uses straight up lard and butter slices so the top is crispy! works a treat. creamy bacon/mushroom sauce is wicked but i prefer sour cream, it cools it down.

best dish ever, i could eat it till i throw up and i have...

Yes,
I got a mega-suprise reading that yesterday, and because i had been looking after Zig (mine and Louise's shared dog) I got a bit of fright that something had happened after I dropped him off.
I rang Jaime immediately - Sorry girl. 8)

Yeah, anyone ever hurt or stole my dog - 'wheelchair material' would probably be the most polite term to use.

I sincerely hope the other person who lost their dog gets it back.
Who steals a dog?
What sort of low-arsed fucking creep steals someone's best and most loyal friend?
What is with the fucking world these days?

Hope you find it.
Really, really sorry to hear that. :(

Do you ever drink, smoke or take drugs? If not chances are its because your healthy mentally and physically thats why. If they ask you again dont say its because your healthy say its because your lucky. Someone could take it the wrong way.

How i would love to be able to not smoke, drink or take drugs. I always have a way of making excuses. Respect to you Cha!

If ur talking about relationships... I have a theory:

It takes as long as the duration of the relationship to truly get over the memories of the individual and accept they've taken a different path.

I don't agree, if you've spent 10 years with someone are you going to waste another 10 years trying to get over them!? No way!
