I must say tho I can't see that being a scalloped hammerhead (Sphyrna lewini) like the article says, it looks way too huge. It's probably a giant hammerhead (Sphyrna mokarran). Also the periferal head indentations don't pop out again, and the head is too straight and T shaped.

So Flip are you saying that the Tiger Shark would have been like Jaws size?

gravity would usually straighten out the head and make it t-shaped me thinks. but crazy visual nonetheless.

nah I don't think gravity would matter mate. That's very thick cartalige.
Thats a scalloped, see the head has much more angle and the eye ridges are wider compared to the body width.
Can't answer that one Liz! It would not have been small that's for sure. Female tigers can get to 7m, female hammers can get to 6m thats all I can tell you
