man that was FUN....

SS was amazing, he was pushing the sound level a bit too much towards the end imo, started to get ear-bleeding. But....

Super-sharp-shooter ----> Alien Girl ----> Ready or Not

That mix made me lose my shit.. haven't heard those tunes mixed like that for years.. good times.

Had a fun day - sooooo many raver lols!!

Dimension X stage was wicked - nice one Kitty.
Men Immitating Machines were bloody awesome and the first hour of SS killed it - then his mixing got truly woeful and made the harder tunes even more abrasive. There was definitely something pretty special about listening to some wicked old rollers, a warm breeze, great view and plenty space to dance. Great vibe and LOUD. Felt like my ears were stuffed with cotton wool for hours afterwards. Sound was top notch though.

Glad it was a success GK.

I wish id seen Men Imitiating machines.

Feigs - my stage (which was outside on the residential side of the shed) got shut down near the end of SS's set, we were told the council was going to let us push it to 11pm from a usual 10pm finish time outside, but he DID crank it to fuck and it was feckin loud. The only tunes you could hear entering from southern cross was ours apparently hehehe.
they shut down all the stages on that side, and everywhere else kicked on. so sad for me and everyone who likes dnb/dubstep, but not a huge problem for the whole of the party.

silent disco did go ahead and i heard it was good. Amick was there, not sure who else stayed that long. i ran away - tired kitteh.

What a fun party!

Bo's stage was awesome! Sound was wicked and the talent on there was amazing.
Highlights for me were Men Imitating Machines, JPS & Nam, Finna, Spoonbill, YI live.. Very annoyed i missed SS though. Stupid me ended up in a hotel room with goog rugs and forgot bout SS

Was interesting... technically my first rave...!
Heaps of familiar faces about which was awesome.
Loitered mainly between the Big Red Bus for a squiz and The X stage for the dnb/dubstep with my killa headache in tow!
Trooper-Finna and panadol fixed headache and finally got my dance on for SS set.....
thankfully had earplugs though.. got stuck at one point between front and back speakers and felt like my head was in limbo.
Outdoors... SS... and a shit load of people going absolutely insane!! (Agree with Deviant here - some shiz I haven't heard out in ages!!!)
Left some of the other stages for dead!!!

Pity about the shut down... wished he had something else lined up to carry on cos a night of that was just what was needed!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ah......... fuck! Man is good!!!
Tried to avoid the sheds though... the little sounds in there confused me!
Wish we could have lazers like that at gigs though..... magic!!!

Silent disco was really cool, if you didn't like what one DJ was playing, flick a switch and listen to the other DJ's tunes (2 DJ's playing at the same time, zomg). Awesome concept would have been better if everyone didn't get so wasted during the day as there was barely anyone left. Anyways got to bounce around and enjoyed myself and my uncle who tagged along - family bonding at EPTAS ftw! Bo from the sound of things regardless of your stage being shut down early (out of your control) everyone who went had an awesome time and we all can't thank you enough! BU's lady!

I was a critic of the silent disco before I experienced it for myself and it is fun/novelty, of course it can't compete with HiFi Bar/Heartical in terms of chest rattle. But if you get the opportunity, don't be too cool for school.

So glad you guys had fun, really thats why I wanted to do the party at all.....I didnt get paid anything for doing so and as long as all my acts and friends had fun and a good experience then that was the point for me.

You guys, we fucking killed all that prog and trance shite, the vibe for glitch/dubsep/dnb at my/our stage was MASSIVE.
that was the point for me.

There will be more silent discos/raves going on now, there IS a way to get around yuppies/council red tape and really limiting sound restrictions, we just gotta move with the times imho.

now I have recovered, even with the issues that occured, I consider it personally, a massive success. so YAY.
