It is such a cool venue - I've only gone on word of mouth until this arvo. The DJ booth is probably the best I've seen in Melbourne - no joke - simply awesome. And for the punters, theres places to just kick back and chill but more importantly a proper dancefloor to rock out on. Plus plenty of parking or close to PT if your drinking.

Miss Libertine is going to do $5 schooners for selected aussie beers!!!

I think we are all gunna be too smahed by the time ours sets come round... he he he.

I'm finally getting proper excited now that everything is settled - its gunna be crazy. Heres to Sunday Shenanigans!!!

Not to forget that tonite at Brown Alley, the DJ's that weren't double booked to play in New Zealand will still be honouring the melburn massif by cutting loose on the decks anyway.

^^ Haven't had a chance to dicuss but Limewax will probably have the last couple of hours from 7 or 7.30 onwards. With Hadry and Sharron first and Lex, myself and Cliifery will rinse out somewhere in between.

Just picked up Max from the Airport - I'm gunna try and get him to jump on the boards and say g'day once he's had a snooze and recovered from his set in Wellington last night. We'll see how he goes.

FARKEN EVIL RINSE OUT!

As far as Sunday sermons go, last nights divine confrontation was immaculate.

Alterboy and all round whipping Hardy got the congregation fired up with a set that was as tight as Nuns _ _ _ t.

Lex showed no remorse with a defiant delivery of menacing hyms. He was also rumoured to have tied up the goats at the back of the venue.

Cant think of a friggen name to describe Cliffery's mashup, but it led the faithful through a rousing rendition of "Too many huge tunes to comprehend."

Then Limewax jumped up onto lecturn and performed strange satanic rituals as bolts of lightening lept from the publice address system, the clouds merged as thunder boomed and a thousands different kinds of pain were sent forth to conquor Melburn. When the dust settled, there appeared to be something resemebling a new assole that was bloodied and freshly torn.

I have waited so long to see Max play and he certainly did not disappoint in any way.
Sorry to miss Hardy's set but it was too fucking hot where I was. Lex is a fucking badman. Myles and Cliff (word) did an excellent job warming the crowd up for Limewax...and the man himself was as evil and twisted as could be imagined.
I thank you for that immensly.
Appologies to those i might have kicked, punched, scratched or even just scared when I went nuts.

Monday feels a bit wierd in a way it has never before. Many, many thanks to Limewax for being one of a kind, and thanks must also go out to Jerry for the venue and wonderful staff, the promoters for putting up with the hassles and surfacing with big grins at the end of it. So many doubts as to whether it could work but from my perspective Melbourne should now consider what it does with some internationals on the Sun-DAY...
