@ Dan - ^^^ i have been trying to do some of that stuff.

jaime and i get up and tell each other first thing, so thats as good as writing for now...

but 16 years of suppressing my liddle mind, its gonna take a while to get control of it hahah

@ Josh - whoah, funny! mine are similar. last night Miss libs was a giant warehouse full of graff, and we were tslking about remodelling, i smoked a j with my boss and then felt so bad for doing so, at work.....when i was supposed to have quit. erm.

woke up feeling MEGA guilty, then realised - UM DREAMING!!!!

good feeling of relief though!

I've had the opposite, where something awesome is happening in my dream... then I wake up and at first feel really happy and stoked (for about 5 seconds), then realise it's not true and feel totally gutted.

Yeah, I do this all the time. I'll go to the top of a tall thing, like a cliff or building, and then think 'I'm going to jump and I'll fly'. Part of my brain goes 'you fucking idiot! you'll totes die' and then another part of my brain goes 'you'd never think that if you were awake, you are asleep, let's go'.

Then I jump, have a bit of a fly or go snowboarding.
I wanted to be a hero. I wanted to be the center of attention. I wanted the glory, I wanted the fame. I wanted the pretty girls to come up and say, "Hi, I see that you're good at Centipede."

this is what i do as well, but i don't jump off stuff lol. i just jump over something like a footpath or a creek or something and if im dreaming i will never land but float about a foot off the ground. then (as silly as it sounds) i just flap my arms once or twice and go flying up into the air! great fun.

but it just warmed up as soon as i put it on :(

maybe i should try a damp t-shirt..

haha when we had that mental black saturday heatwave a couple of years back i took two tshirts to work. i'd put one in the coolroom and just change tshirts every 15mins. prob wasn't working very well but the temporary quick burst of relief was pretty nice

that weekend was so hot that whoever's turn it was to go do a stint in the coolroom would do it shirtless. shirtless. in a fucking fridge. and it still felt quite warm. god forbid we should ever experience that again. pretty sure on the saturday the mercury made it to about 47deg

yeh, i would like to be able to go shirtless in the coldroom at work, but i dont think others would appreciate this.
maybe i should start taking extra shirts to throw in the freezer.
hmm..

but this damp shirt idea is a bad one.
though it was more drenched than damp.
i am now wet, and cant touch anything electronic.

I think he's doing ok but he doesn't move much and only has toenail clippings for nourishment. we shall see.

Re: Gripe thread

Post by ghetto kitty »

i had a great morning this morning.
smashed it at the gym, sunny bike ride with poochy, then went over to speak nicely to the neighbour about when they might be done building as its been 2 years of most weekends at 7:30am.

i got screamed at, told to get off the property, i told her ive been having nightmares and that we are willing to come over and help them finish it, thats how frustrated we are. i said weekdays are fine, we all work, but the wekeends were getting ridiculous, especially cos we are all in the music industry and they know it. she just kept yelling 'im doing everything legally, im within my rights!!" i asked if the tiler guy could at least please cut the tiles in the backyard perhaps instead of right next to out bedrooms, that i was just looking for a bit of harmony here, but nope, she is just on the defensive and ANGRY.

so everyone on facebook is telling me to torch them...get funktion 1 and blast jungle, etc etc

i have tried in the past, worksafe reporting for no scaff (they got it the next day), the EPA, the council, reasoning, pleading, being shitty, yelling at tradies (one day they were such cunts they made me cry, then one of them took pity on crying sleepy girl and turned the radio down that was blaring into our house) . going through the normal avenues hasnt worked, and its too late for me to 'record everything' as this feud has been going on a full 3 years now. (barking dog before the building began)

nothing has worked.

today she told me shes going to report me for harrassment, because i swore saying 'THIS IS FUCKING RIDICULOUS YOU ARE THE WORST NEIGHBOUR EVER" (i havent been over there or spoken to her in a few months)

so i ask you MBers, do i sit down, and write a letter? talking isnt working obviously, she was on the defensive the minute i walked up to her. she said her mother has health issues and not to talk to her, thats fine, im sure they have other things going on that means it has taken then 2 years to renovate. but im seriously at the end of my rope.

advice?
