i was wondering the same! i'll bet it was the fondue.

steve that sounds almost as rank as my ex's 'carbonara' which was:
pasta - 1 packet of
kraft cheese spread - one jar of
those 'bacon' bits from the supermarket - couple of handfuls of
combine
eat
stack on 5kgs after consumption

:pukeleft:

i'm so glad we broke up :fat:

That would be White Village. Some of the best Greek food in Melbs.

We want to find somewhere good northside too though, now we're moved... Anyone have any other suggestions? I haven't been to Jim's but Joe has and didn't think it was that great, and I've had mixed reports from others too.

lol and packet macaroni cheese quick. It's so easy to make a proper one! Why would you make packet mix....

just threw a spanish stew in the slow cooker before leaving this morning.

Chirizo, smoked ham chunks, few chicken thigh cutlets, 2 tins of lentils, capsicums, potato, carrot, onion, green beans, chicken stock, cloves, bay leaves, paparika, tumeric, garlic, parsley, couple of glasses of pinot. House is going to smell epic when I get home tonight :D

good food and wine show = fail with a capital F

WHERE WAS THE CHEESE!!!!?!?!?!?

I've seen enough "dukkah" to last the rest of my life, that shit is GROSS after 100 randoms have dipped there oily bread pieces in it.... ew.

fail

And creepy chinese masseurs who try and accost you....

fail

and what was with the normal supermarket brand stalls?... I mean, do we really need the kikoman soy sauce stand and the Lee Kum Kee soy sauce stand? and the nescafe stand? and the nandos stand?

fail

There was a total of 1 cheese stand and they didn't even have any crackers for the cheese they just kind of dumped some grotty looking cheese pieces in your hand.

fail

At the avocado stand they were making this pasta and avocado salad, we got two samples when they were done and pasta wasn't cooked and was all stuck together and there wasn't even any avocado in the samples :?

fail

2 or 3 out of hundreds is still pretty poor.... but we seriously looked high and low and only found one.

blackberry beer was pretty nice :) and a I made a mad dinner when I got home with the olives and pasta sauce I bought.

I dunno, just wasn't what I was expecting, and there were waaay too many rude pricks not watching where they were walking. Wanted to start just pushing people over, 'specially when they just bump into you and then keep going

Southwank suxors. The rent is too expensive so they pass on that overhead to you if you dine there.

yeah im a total snob. i have casually looked at a bunch of those places but they havent rung true for me. aside from looking like overinflated prices, not my sort of vibe i guess. not sure what benefits the water view would have for the tastebuds either.
