i've got a few pairs

1 X Levi
1 X Carhartt
1 X Evisu
2 X Lee
2 X Wrangler

I like my Levi's the most ... durable and good fit. Carhartt's are cool but have a funny shape ... the Lee ones are cool and the Wrangler ones are the most comfortable. The Evisu jeans are awesome but I haven't worn them much.

David Jones has some awesome jeans - seriously.

Have spent a fortune on jeans but am always looking for the 'ultimate' pair. Last time bought Addison's which stretch so much after an hour in them, they're falling off my ass.

Free budget?- Paper Denim Cloth calls my name every time I go past Dakota 501 but last pair I looked at were a measly $550! wtf?

Mellogs, you'll need those deeper pockets to house all the cash you must have if you already have 3 pairs of Tsubi's

hehe, I do like deep pockets.. but not for the cash factor..

I have acumulated 8 pairs of sass and bide's over the past 5 years, and I only ever wear one pair.

Jetty Surf sells them (I know I hear you cringe) but best variety is from a little Italian dude on Lygon St Brunswick next to Il Primosole Bakery (near cnr of Victoria and Lygon).

great range and also has Lee's and Levis etc. plus. he's a dude

Do it- range from $90 to $120 and best jeans- low waisted, roomy in legs and plus support your local traders. He also does cheap alterations.

time to consult my checklist.

low waist - check!
roomy in legs - check!
less than tsubi's - check!
less than $150 - check!
not sold from a commercial clothing chain - check!

sounds like a plan!

It is impossible to find a good pair of loose/baggy guys jeans for someone 6 foot these days. THe 90's was ripe for this gear, you could walk into Jay Jays and pick up a pair of baggys for $30. Now i cant find a pair of jeans anywhere.

desperate.

I need some new jeans/pants too.

Going to wait for sales.

Hate hate hate jeans shopping.

Would carhartt pants make me look even more like a midget?? Does the kids section of Myer have any jeans that aren't embroidered with trucks or butterflies?? Should I go with Sass and Bide cos they fit and look like every other dunced-out-strumpet on bourke st??

Eeep.

Actually, one pair of my work pants are supposed to be 3/4 length, and they are full-length on me.

Been there, done that.
