:tard:

Zomg so completely and utterly over DAF calculations. Especially after discovering during a read-through of the final copy that the input parameters for source COPC should be meters cubed instead of length of contamination source parallel to groundwater flow direction.

I don't want to model this again. Sick and need to be in bed, not in office with headache/fever/grumpy clients on phone.

Fuck it. Let the frogs die and the platypus eggs crack. Do not care any more.

I am a dynamic figure, often seen scaling walls and crushing ice. I have
been known to remodel train stations on my lunch breaks, making them more
efficient in the area of heat retention. I translate ethnic slurs for Cuban
refugees, I write award-winning operas, I manage time efficiently.
Occasionally, I tread water for three days in a row.

I woo women with my sensuous and godlike trombone playing, I can pilot
bicycles up severe inclines with unflagging speed, and I cook Thirty-Minute
Brownies in twenty minutes. I am an expert in stucco, a veteran in love, and

Using only a hoe and a large glass of water, I once single-handedly defended

deft floral arrangements have earned me fame in international botany circles.
Children trust me.

I can hurl tennis rackets at small moving objects with deadly accuracy. I
once read Paradise Lost, Moby Dick, and David Copperfield in one day and
still had time to refurbish an entire dining room that evening. I know the
exact location of every food item in the supermarket. I have performed
several covert operations for the CIA. I sleep once a week; when I do sleep,
I sleep in a chair. While on vacation in Canada, I successfully negotiated
with a group of terrorists who had seized a small bakery. The laws of
physics do not apply to me.

I balance, I weave, I dodge, I frolic, and my bills are all paid. On
weekends, to let off steam, I participate in full-contact origami. Years ago
I discovered the meaning of life but forgot to write it down. I have made
extraordinary four course meals using only a mouli and a toaster oven. I
breed prizewinning clams. I have won bullfights in San Juan, cliff-diving
competitions in Sri Lanka, and spelling bees at the Kremlin. I have played
Hamlet, I have performed open-heart surgery, and I have spoken with Elvis.

But I have not yet gone to college.

Not singling them out i'm well aware of that, just saying how irresponsible it is to endorse these companies by buying their products.

firstly, do you think 'Big City Woman' gets kate moss to model, then stretches her out to a size 18?

and secondly, you would be hard pressed to find ANY big company that does not have serious ethical compromises these days imo, from child labour to photchopping models, to dubious import/export etc

can anyone name one multinational company that is totally ethically sound?

I can do what I want :P

Seriously, find me one. From cutting corners one can justify to one's community in small business, there is a lot of things that can be compromised by the time you get to multinational.

At the end of the day, 'ethics' themselves can be a matter of opinion, but im pretty sure you would be hard up to find a multinational that operates completely cleanly, from every outsiders/contractors/customers perspective.

Not ignorant, realistic.

I can think of companies that sell product and have distreibution in multiple countries which is pretty much all Coca Cola is. So on that basis, I 'm going with Dischor Records as an ethical multinational.

Haha. Nice one Amick.

Cocal-Cola sold all their territories years ago. Ammatil have become somewhat of a conglomerate. One of the biggest fuck ups in corporate history. Theres a real good book about that and more, def worth checking out.

But worth checking out even more are Dischord Records - apparently one of the most ethical multinational compainies in the world.

Earthwatch is pretty ethical. I did research that was supported by them, and my supervisor got awarded an Order of Australia for his work that was also funded by them.

Then again, they are a not-for-profit organisation...

Is that where you have to get people's attention in the street? Wow. Would have sucked.

I didn't work with the company, I just got loads of people from overseas to help me to collar and radiotrack koalas... couldn't have done the research without the extra hands and I know other scientists who say the same thing.

Koalas are one of the most retarded vertebrates still in existance. Not much protein for brain development in those gum-leaves! Brain the size of a small walnut lolz. We used to catch them by getting a pole with a flag on the end... wave it in front of the koala and it would crawl backwards down the tree into the bag we would hold out.

Fine, the Mb majority decrees that most companies are true and just,
that any questioning of said multinationals must be due to being a stinky hippy,
that capitalism isnt just the framework our society, it should be loved!

ffs.
