The Baby Namboos - "Provoked"

I picked up the "Ancoats 2 Zambia" cd single for $1 (plus $7 postage  ) complete with the Dillinja remix, but this track stood out the most. The female vocalist has the most fragile, cracking voice I think I've ever heard. Heart-wrenching.

It's older than that I'm pretty sure. Been the hype of breakbeat forums world wide for a while to the point people were recording it and putting it on YouTube.

Funny! I was finally digging through some vinyl someone off loaded to me months back and low and behold Photek - Ni-Ten-Ichi-Ryu was there! In my studio, for months! Was pretty happy to see that in there.

Nas - 'Hip Hop Is Dead'

Very nice production from will.i.am - not his usual fare, more catered to the Nasty Nas vibe... wicked sample of In-a-gadda-da-vida for the bline. Nice!

amy winehouse - love is a losing game (moody boyz remix)

possibly one of the only dubstep (or, for that matter, dnb, house, whatever) refixes of a popular tune i've ever really liked. this one just fits brilliantly.
