Recovery: HC

Post by B0mBjAcK »

I'm still recovering, had to work at 10 today still all fucked up dealing with customers on the phone.

Mad night good to see peeps there, every gig I go to I always see atleat one person I know which is pretty cool, tho nothing could have fucked up my night tho since I got a nu (read: real) job. 3 of my fav tracks were droped so I was even happier.

Whats that track that has the '...echoes in my head" vocal? Hmmm I was feelin that one, and feelin verry drunk, damn I was going to try to not drink much and avoid getting smashed but that didn't exactly work, damn my gf for getting me more beer when I really didnt need it but I still drank it n njoyed it :D

cheers to u AO for the tip bout melbournebeats, seems MJ is completly dead now...
That's so plausible I can't believe it!

Wikkid night...Thought High Contrast could of been better the way everyone talked up his last gig...

Mixing was ok but track selection was Poor IMO...Yep he dropped some classics but there were some ultra wak tunes in there...just my opion tho.

Sean absolutley killed it...Always does just keeps getting better everytime.

Biggups Da Lex for getting the santa ghetto on! that bailey soulaar 2001 cd is the BOMB!

Went to CYPRESS HILL before and it was absolutley madness...damn those boys know how to put on a show!!!! Cheers again lucie, was absolutley fantabulous...! :D

For mine Dust had the best selection, although Sean was in good touch too.

Was a bit too trashed by the time HC came on to pay too much attention... I can't remember being too thrilled though.

Having Blanco vs Lex and the end has to be one of the most bizarre pairings I've ever seen.

Overall great vibes all round. Someone please pass on my thanks to Rux for not punching me out.

Biggups the Carnage-y massif for the afterwardsness. I'm pretty sure I set a record for me not sleeping – literally only about 40winks. Work not too much of a hassle either (cheers Quick).

Dust & Sean were excellent.

Lex short set at the end was killer.

FYI BOmBjAck and anyone else..that tune is called "Voices" (who would have thunk it) by Q Project on CIA...and the vocal sample is a Police track from their album Zenyatta Mondatta ("Voices Inside My Head")...

I only found it cos I recently picked up issue 61 of ATM (andy c on the cover) and its on the excellent mix cd by AI :)

If anyone wants to know, the tune I was ranting on about in the interview
thread with the vocal hook "still a friend of mine" that both nu tone and
HC played is a remix of a tune called yes you guessed it! "still a friend of
mine" by Incognito. The new take on it is called "Right There" by Crecent.
And is on Renegade Rollers Part 5

Oh, that's the tune.

I thought the lyrics were "Celebrate your love/life". No wonder I was having trouble iding it.

Sorted!
