What's up with such low bitrates all the time?

Obviously it's a smaller/faster D/L, but it's a massive compromise on quality IMO.

the tunes in some mixes aren't necessarily released.

Even more reason to have them sounding good IMO.

I don't D/L a hundred sets a day - more like one a month. It'd be nice to have the killer combo of: good tracks, good mixing and good sound.

All these producers bust their balls getting tunes to sound as good as they can, only to have them cut down and brutalised @ 128kbps.

Perhaps it's just me - 'Anal audio crew' inside the ride!
