without question. if it's only a few days and you're not booked. i would. i missed the last shadow gig by two days when i went to the uk. gutted, but had been locked in for ages and too difficult to change.

I say making travel plans around a gig is completely reasonable. If you started cancelling/changing flights, I'd start to worry a bit, but if you haven't even booked yet...

seen Shadow twice now already, amazing artist!!! Best show for Shadow was the first one without Mos Def. Mos Def really blew his show out of the water last time so probably good he is back here without him:)

The Metro has been taken over by the Palace people, I'll get a shot of the room in a day or so...they have done some creative work there for sure..

I think people will be surprised with the venue...and it's kept ticket prices down considering the talent on the bil

I don't get people hating on metro (palace), it's easily one of the best venues in melbourne.
Sure it had some terrible nights on there over the years, but proper parties there are always awesome.
I went to Goo for 4 years straight. I miss those days.

if you didn't think you were stoked about this one ... you should well be. saw them in amsterdam, they utterly carved it up. massive look.

not just hip-hop and funk, it proper branches out into deep house, jungle, grime, everything. (not necessarily those per se, but just a massive influence.) musical turntablism too, four decks each. utter insanity.

far better than even product placement in my eyes.

the best show I've ever seen in my whole entire life, full stop, easily, without a doubt, was Shadow at the Forum

not just good, the fuckin BEST times fuckin 5.

from what I've seen & heard so far this show might rival that.
