Cant find the old thread, only the old world cup and 20/20 ones so this can be the new one...

One dayers, Tests, 20/20 dosnt matter.

So DBoy and Lynt i ask can we win this first game on the last day today?

Pretty sure punter would give haddin and watson say 1 hour to bat, hopefully the get 300+ in that time, send in the indians to bat and BAM, bowl em all out for 200...

last day pitch, anything could happen, and if Haddin can keep 'em in his gloves...
Draw seems more likely, if we loose it is going to be a long series, confident Indians are hard to beat and media will be all over "new aussies".

yea but what happens if we win and its 1-0, indians give punter that first win in a series and he will make them pay for it for the rest of the series.

Been grazing the test so far. Sucks not having Foxtel at home, because looks like we're in for a decent competition!

Singh half tonner, come on lads.

Just keep on keeping Tendulkar away from it.

We need some play testers for a cricket game.

Likely to be next weekend, either Saturday or Sunday for around 4 hours.
CBD location.

We need peeps who are fans of cricket games or those that have never played a cricket game before but are fans of cricket.

Let me know if you are interested or have any further questions.

i'd love to come and gloat about now, but the kiwi's aren't looking so hot against Bangladesh right now, so i'll either be commiserating with you tomorrow or offering some sympathy. At least this aussie team has 2 victorians in it. So glad Dhoni had the balls to put the foot down and declare early, its what punter should have done in the first test.

apparently if you aren't a vip you can't get access to tickets in the shade, the security is ridiculous - can't bring in mobiles, umbrellas to shade under or anything and the rebel ICL 20/20 is on at the same time.

Plus people are happy to watch it on tv in air conditioned comfort and not have to go through all that BS.

Kiwis beat Bangladesh in case you were wondering.

Strange behavior by the aussies under pressure, brett lee daring to question ricky's authority, katich and haydo going the tonk and getting out and even hussey losing his wicket. Don't usually see the team losing wickets in big clumps like that.

I don't believe the hype about this being the changing of the guard and the end of an era. I bet they regret not having Symonds on the tour though. The aussie team will bounce back.

It's good to get a pounding. We can't always rely on the Aussie legends. Bring the new younger guys through, train em up and we'll have a cracking side.

Have you tried sopcast / tvants and those kind of things?

Great for the premier league and stuff and plenty of other sports available to watch on there

But mostly Chinese tv stations apart from espn and couple euro ones, and I doubt the Chinese are too interested in cricket

i cant even get sopcast to work on my home computer (but then again it is a mac)

Re: Cricket

Worst position you can be in.

3rd game of 3 game series.
1 down in series
600 total to chase after 2 days, first innings
potentially 2 x 200+ innings

only way is to go for it, but going for it in india on a spinners pitch means chance of making nothing.
This could get be worst beat ever.

Got to say, Laxman is a pleasure to watch.

hows gambiars 206 or whatever it was! madness. prick should be banned for elbowing watson tho and karma's a bitch, watson was the one to get his wicket in the end.

Agreed we are in a shithouse place. Last few overs were a pleasure to watch with hayden and kaitch making a few. Hayden looks like hes in for the long haul.
