haha, last one i was in back in england was in a shipping container...yeah i always wondered why there wernt any over here...someone told me the penalties are real bad here?

hahaha, wow I better start watching neighbours, they've finally tapped into that underground youth market that has evaded them so far.

Looks like they've nailed it now though!

Next episode they'll have a proper dubstep gig, here r the promo shots...

The absence of pirate radio in Australia is primarily attributed to the relatively large number of commercial licences that were issued, particularly after World War 2. Additionally, the lack of availability of imported broadcasting equipment and the likely application of severe, legislated penalties including jail for offenders, would also have been a factor.

Wouldn't you also need quite a strong broadcaster to stream to much of Melbourne?

Then wouldnt that make it alot more likely you got caught too?

I used to have a show on 3MR (3MU). Shared licence with a bunch of phonies on the weekends. It was known that the equipment was capable to broadcast when not being used.

Nough said.
