wow he shot off fast, I've seen him twice in the uk only a couple weeks ago. He was the first DJ I ever saw and let me tell you, he hasn't lost his touch. Even smoked a joint with him at one gig. I love the UK sometimes...

for the youngsters he would be known as crissy criss's step dad.

he also runs mix n blen records.

i remember he won that king of the jungle dj battle thing 3 years running when i was a kid...

when I saw him at hidden in london... he played man of steel - you know, vinyl syndicate - so far that whole set he'd been playing strictly 94 jungle styles. OK so he drops man of steel and then drops the nu:tone remix of feelings into it. mixing em back and forth for ages. it was like WTF WHERE DID THIS COME FROM?! He never stops amazing me

First dnb gig I ever saw was kenny ken, jungle run 4 and the first mix i ever heard of dnb/jungle was a set with him and GQ so he kinda got me into the genre. Big fan right here.

i opened up my set at wobble with a man of steel white label aphrodite gave me... i should of really given it a wind for same-o but was felling a bit to wobbly... always next time

I cant fuckin believe that! There was a time .... in the past ..... where Melb. was considered the place for Jungle in Aus. Having no one step up and bring him over here? Thats just embarrasing.
Where are the promoters and booking agents?? I'd give my time and hard earned to see him here, and I'd make sure the gig looked like nothing you'd ever seen before!!

It's not really that easy. If he was playing in both SA and TAS on the weekend, that would probably mean he could only be booked wid-week for melbs, which would probably be financial suicide. Loads of producers/DJs come to oz but don't make it to melbourne, it's just that you don't always hear about it. Can't have it all!

Adelaide and Perth eclipsed Melbourne as the Jungle capital a long, long time ago...
