Hey yo,
This is rant I did for ProJuice on Recording Vocals.
It's something I have a bit of a knack for. So perhaps I can offer some insight to anyone who's keen to know how another producer goes about it.
No great mysteries revealed here, but a couple of good tricks and an approach that works for me.
