Thanks Dan, I'm just building the hype around this one for a while. I'll put you on the short waiting list.
Or you can come to Revolver on sat for a signed original.

huge wrote:how is taking a photo on your phone any different to taking a photo on an slr? it's a camera, it takes photos.
do phones have manual settings? can they do long exposures? expandable ISO? custom colour, saturation settings? low noise, large sensors? can you change lenses? shallow DOF? these are all valuable tools for a photographer.
the answer to some of these may be yes if you're willing to fuck around enough. there's even an adapter you can get to fit DSLR lenses to iphones! it looks bloody ridiculous lol.
i know what you're getting at a good photo is a good photo no matter what it was taken on (though printing is another story). and sometimes limitations are good to refine your skills. still point&shoot is point&shoot...

that one's awesome! all great shots but that my fav. a great B+W with those blown highlights from the sky.
took a couple looking down that sorta from the geyer rooftop
btw i take it you caught a glimpse of that Ballet photoshoot in the alley? weird haha. didn't get any snaps of that
really wanted to make it to more but so much else on >_<
that origin rooftop was SO packed.
you guys must've got there early?
i found it pretty underwhelming... jamie durie rofl. astroturf galore
yeah we got into the city at 10am and got to the Origin garden when there was like 5 other people up there. Full plan of attack next year to go both days and go early. Best time cos hardly anyone is around.
your shots look well crisp! Oh the colours, love love i really dig the third last shot.

be sweet if it was actually in part of the exhib space. one of the main reasons i wanna check it is the crazy architecture [and non-flash photography allowed]

I dont think so.
A good photograph should tell a story, should have a story. IMO.
Its all about being in the right place, at the right time. For a second, or for a day. I worked with a landscape photographer who would set up with location scout and assistant in the morning and just wait until the light was right and then shoot. That could take days.
And then other people manage to capture something which is completely random, which couldn't be composed, and thats just luck. It's still good photography though.
