just pointing peeps to my band's second remix competition, hosted in conjunction with Sound Punk
To celebrate the release of our debut EP 'Volume 1' late last year and the kill some time before our album comes out in April/May, we're giving people a chance to remix 'Through To Me' - one of the new tunes from the EP, and have it released with the album (amongst other prizes).
'Through To Me' is an uptempo dub track with multi-layered female vocals by Nicole Shenko, pristine parts recorded and mixed by Christian Scallan and mastered by Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound.
You also get one of the deepest drum samples in my collection - the 6ft Taiko boooommmm
The first remix comp was a standout for creative and well-mixed tracks from all over the world, and was won by our good friend Timothy Allan
