As the Rain Keeps coming down and the flood levels rise, all you can do is watch.

Well not anymore, the melbourne beats community is uniting to raise some money for the people up north who really need our help right now.

How can we help you say, well it's the only way we know how to and that's putting together a line up that will keep you dancing until the water subsides featuring New Zealand drum and bass legend Concord Dawn.

The Operatives, Heavy Innit, Too Much,Uprising, Stable, Funktion, Phonetics, Flow Lab, Twisted Audio, Riddem and Rukkus, MTC present a night of music in aid of the recent floods that have devastated Queensland.

Every little bit helps and it's time for us to do our part, dig deep and get into a night of futuristic, forward thinking beats.

Here's the lineup:

Concord Dawn, MC Lowqui, Consequence, JPS vs Nam, Affiks vs A13, Same'o vs David Bass, West:one, ABle, Lady Banton, Dust, Fugitive, Mike Hunt, Rintrah, Psimocybin and more TBA over 2 rooms.

$20 door donation with proceeds to to the Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal.

some absolutely heart-wrenching stories coming out from this tragedy... so many ppl affected!

my band nearly got stranded but managed to get the hell out and down to sydney...

wish i'd be back to rock out at this but will still be touring.... bigs up MB! good to see unification for a great cause!

great cause... my heart goes out to all of those affected... Melbourne please get down to this so we can raise heaps...

As a kid I was in the '74 floods in qld.

It was the most amazing, memorable time of my life, and I remember we had 5 families staying with us because their houses were washed away. There was great good humour about it...
People laughing thru adversity was pretty uplifting.

We had just moved into Jindalee, which is sorta the equivalent of Mt Waverley I guess, and the cyclone came, and then there was torrential rain for about 4 or 5 days, and we watched the suburb around us disappear under water day by day.

Ended up with army helicopters dropping food and water to us whilst we were cut off. It was such an adventure as a kid, but looking back now as a dad with kids and a mortgage etc, I take my hat off for the people back then and the people in it right now..

Fuck.

Respeck.
