A little help from those who can?

Post by sweetcheeks »

A quick run-through of events

1. my boss asked me to hook up 3 summadayze industries. i don't know anyone who can do that, but my mate was doing the sound, and because of this was in a position to get them in.

2. my friend was swapped over from summawow, to do the sound at 33 and a 3rd. which is all very well and good because he loves Andy C. But now my boss cannot get into summadayze and will look upon me unfavourably for this fuck-up.

if you know where i can procure 3 summadayze tickets by New Years Day [full-price if needs be, whereever, whatever!] then for the love of god and all that is freakin holee help me help me help me

please. more please then you can shake some action at.

sincerely,
-me

as for the rest of you have a happy & safe new years and see most of y'all at the Espy!

Try Gaslight. That is, if they're open.

They'd be stupid not to be open... with all the people milling around the city.

I can't believe people are bidding $200 bucks for tickets to Muzzadayze

They'll be damn pissed off to get there and find them selling tix on the door for maybe $20 more than presales

I was on the phone to ticketmaster7 and on an IVR, they said GloStickDaze has sold out with none of the usual door sales in the morning.

really?

they say that every year though.

the one time I went (before I knew better  ) they'd sold out of pre-sales but there was heaps of tix on the door.

if you wanna be on the safe side then eBay's the go but I have a better solution still: tell your boss to acquire some taste ;)

Maybe i've missed something, but why is your boss getting shirty at you not being able to do something that he's too fucking lazy to do himself?

I think the bigger issue here is... is your friend any good at what he does?

you needn't worry about that, he's the business. plus he's a massive andy c fan, so he'll be careful to be on point. the bigger issue is probably speaker action.

& it doesn't matter why my boss would get shirty, that he'll get shirty is enough :smt021 it's my fault really, but hey, who's taking notice *ahem*

True. Shirty bosses, whether justified or not, are best avoided.
