Strontium is pleased to introduce new signing PRISM to the roster with his Rendition EP. These two slabs of blistering, broken-beat technology will take things up a notch in sets with fierce, rolling drum programming and big bass.
The title track Rendition kicks off with a Middle-Eastern sounding vocal phrase and builds on a morphing bassline to a breakdown that drops sweeter than desert rain. An intense and evocative soundscape, this is a track that has elements of the hardcore of old with the production quality of now and delivers a heads down vibe throughout.
The flip; Mudfight also starts with great energy, shuffling percussion and a hype vocal sample. Without further ado the arrangement drops into cut-up, half-time amen breaks and a warped bassline assault. Expect big things from PRISM in 2013.
