lappy audio interface

want to plug in guitar,or mic up other instruments and pissed mates who think they are MCs. Still just having fun, not wanting to spend big bucks on top notch stuff. To plug into laptop.

looking at these

Tascam Us-122 (comes withcubase)
Digidesign MBox (comes with pro tools LE 6.9)

also some of little M-audio jobs.

comments? anyone useing these?

you could prolly just get a little beringher mixer of some sort.

or maybe not. laptop you say..

how much those tascam jobbies go for? $250?

they are not that cheap actually. either are the mbox's

yeh you can get tascams for about 350.
