DOM AND ROLAND

After 10 years and three LP’s with Moving Shadow, as well as various remixes and countless collaborations for high profile labels such as Metalheadz, Prototype, Timeless, Certificate 18 and TOV, the name Dom and Roland is synonymous with drum and bass.
With releases to the tune of Cant Punish Me, Ready Ta Flo (remix), Terrrorist (remix), Trauma, Dance All Night, Imagination, Killa Bullet and Parasite, Dom has been an integral part of shaping Drum N Bass music to where its at today.
He has collaborated with the likes of Matrix, Optical, Calyx, Kemal, Skynet, Hive and Tech Itch.
His third and quite possibly best album ‘Chronology’ was released on on Moving Shadow in June 2004. Since then, Dom has been touring extensively to promote the album’s release.
The year 2005 saw Dom start his own label Dom and Roland recordings, with the first 2 releases from Dom, Hive and Gridlok, Dom has many releases in the pipeline for the rest of this year and 2006.
Dom and Roland is in huge demand for his notorious DJ skills and a trademark sound encompassing relentless beats and an onslaught of heavy basslines set to devastate dance floors across the globe.
BBA, Elementz & The Operatives welcome the long awaited return of of Drum n Bass don – Dom & Roland.

CALYX

South London-based Larry Cons first appeared on the DnB scene at the start of 1998 with releases on labels No-U-Turn, Rugged Vinyl, and of course, Moving Shadow, which became his main home and released many 12s and EPs in years to come. .Also a few guests spots on Doc Scott’s hugely influential 31 Records imprint confirming Calyx’s elevation to the elite of the DnB circle.
The coming years witnessed the Calyx sound pushing further afield, with many of the scenes players on Larry’s case for new material to release. A stunning debut on Metalheadz 12’ (Leviathan / Mindfold), was soon followed by ‘The Wasteground EP’ (Wasteground / Kingdom / Deviation/ Mirror Image - MSXEP18),
And in 2005, possibly the biggest year to date for Larry, sees him DJ’ing and pushing his sounds allover the globe. The fruits of an amazing year of production have been unleashed: a 12’ on the ultra-exclusive Metalheadz Platinum imprint, a debut 12’ on Calyx & Kontrol’s new label “Thunderous Audio”, and the debut Calyx album on Moving Shadow: “No Turning Back”. With many already hailing Calyx as the producer of the year, the album looks set to be one of the highlights of 2005. Calyx touches down for his first ever visit to Melbourne Town.

Thaks babe... always get a bit sniffly around Xmas time. This will be my 6th XMAS without my family

Luckily I got some amazing friends around me (although most take off interstate at XMAS).

nah, wrong mind set Fi, we've rejected xmas in Aotearoa.
Orphans Xmas in the park may not be so necessary, and we've created a demand for interesting things like this to take place. Props.

Well if it's not a day time gig, you can surely head to Edinborough Gardens for Barbi, Beats and Beers. I never got too excited about xmas back home, take it for granted I spose, lucky to have wikkid peeps over here to share the xmas spirits with.
