hahah i copped double bear grylls last night one on sbs and one on fox. the one on fox kicked ass was in antartica did the same thing as the ox bit but with another animal. then he just happen to find two very old cross country ski's....pissed on them so it frooze and the stuck to the snow. then used his parachute he had handy to ski about 4 km;s over a frozen lake before it got dark. badman gryll's.

Technical question: I can't get all the secondary digital tv stations. Got the usual suspects but not the rest. I've had several friends try and scan the channels for me but even as recently as last night I've had no luck. My tv is 2 years old (flatscreen lcd blah blah blah) so that isn't the issue, my apartment is wired with ADSL2, I have a digital tv aerial thingie in the wall etc. The whole thing is a mystery and is p1ssing me off.

We had a similar issue, could get ABC and SBS 2 but nothing else. Turned out we had a shit set top box along wiht an older tv. Could be your box (hehe) isnt right for your telly or is just a shit one. we did buy Teac tho, so prolly should have known better

Got onto Skins on the weekend, started on season 1. Had only seem random eps here and there and didnt have a clue about it. Geebus, what a gold show!

Although I cant say I was doing all that at 17

Liz, ive seen some of 3 as well i think, does each season have different characters? Noticed the same chick in the 3rd one was in the first ep sneaking into her room in the morning, so I assume she's Tony's sister. Speaking of Tony, he's a wanka. i dont like him at all.

might sound stupid but also check in the menu for switching between analogue and digital. Ours was on analugue standard and we had to change it to digital then tune to find all the chanels.

Yep, have set to digital and have then set autoChoon to find the channels. Did it again on the weekend and got two copies of each channel lolz

Going to get my housesitters to sort this issue. May have to buy a set-top thing, but don't really want to given the ability of all of my friends to get all channels... and yep, got two of them to come over on separate occasions to try and resolve the issue and neither of them could sort it (Nick Thayer and Straydawg... both of them are pretty ok with electronic things).

Le sigh. Back to iview. Luckily I gots ADSL2, so I can watch anything on demand anyways, but is the principal of the thing.

Should check and see if the antenna in my building is all ready to go. Would have thunk that it was all ok, but the body corporate are pretty mindblowing in their incompetence.
