It's basically an open source environment terrain generator. But I guess these ones have been cleaned up with extra visuals to make it more realistic.

It's like povray (i think) whereby each element is basically put in mathematically from scratch, and thus we have rendering/processing which takes time away from the CPU for said calculations.

btw the twin towers thing was a conspiracy! stay-puff monster from ghostbusters was really the one innit!
