Freundschaft - Matthew Herbert album launch

Slap Records presents Freundschaft presents the Official Launch of Herbert's new album 'Scale,' out now on !K7/ Inertia.

You know Slap loves you, and after a little winter break last month, the freundly ones welcome you again to Troika for fine music, cocktails, conversation and general delight.

This time it's a special affair, for we are lauching Matthew Herbert's new album.

We've invited Herbert loving musical types James Midget Fidget and Yael to join Toups, Dr Who and me in the record playing on the night. Expect sounds from the minimal and electro end of the spectrum.

It starts round 9.30, finishes round 3 and it's free. There'll also be giveaways courtesy of Inertia.

Only had the opportunity to catch him once live, and I was stunned. A truly fantastic DJ.

Someone please bring him out soon. Its been too long between Herberts for this little punter.

Look to Honky's. They brought him last time and got him a box of organic apples to give to the punters to bite.

I love his music, but have less interest in the man since interviewing him once for RA. A very *prickly* man.

I hope that he's playing in Sydney as well. His gig with Dani Siciliano at Shonkybonks was amazing.
