Lucie... had you been a couple of week earlier I could have sorted you out, but we've since sold all our manufacturing division.... sorry.

If I hear of anything I will let you know.

This is a Question I have asked lots, try asking around at Hire company's. I know Dean can do it but I forget which company he works for!

It requires a bit of calculations as you have to calibrate the springs for the weight of the console and the concrete slabs.

transit pack do custom roadcases/flightcases etc... also those bonded plastic cases which aren't real flightcase standard, but fine for general use.

the thing is that making something up from roadready cases is usually cheaper than a custom job these days.

road ready are prefab turntable and mixer cases and can work in a fairly modular fashion.

Yep I forgot to say that most "DJ Console's" I've encountered Suck! Wobblely retarded pieces of BS. and completely inflexiable, thats the set up bad luck if you want to expand your set up and do a 3 deck 2 cdj and sampler set.

I reckon something close to the standard spring loaded tables with a cable that get attached to the ground as well would be the most effective!!

road ready are really quite cheap, in contrast to what smif is saying.

are you wanting the stand or the case?

the table/stand is another matter.

warehouse sound were behind the sprung/slab trolley design which has been used or copied by hifi and firstfloor

that brings in the whole issue of vibration/feedback isolation...

yeah we need the actual table / stand... want a nice permanent one designed and built with lighting etc that we can just slot the equipment into...

ShiKung - do you mean dean light dimensions or another person...

dean has the warehouse sound designed sprung tables....

the priciple being isolation and levelling through the springs, and the slabs to get the right amount of stiffness and balance, with enough compression to maintain isolation without too much "bounce"

I do really vouch for the warehouse sound style ones... call dean light dimensions or warehouse sound about the spec/costs etc

they arent perfect but there really isn't such a thing...

^^ think it could be light dimensions Just heard him say something in passing once.

Do you reckon you would need to upgrade the springs on those tables?? The one at Brown alley really bugs me and I dont use it anymore, I just put the coffin on a table and it works sweet!

little grumpy dean...

yes the springs need replacement from time to time - i think long term vibration has an effect on the properties of the spring...

Mine is kickarse.
I hacked up a solid old desk, added some risers to make it the perfect height and screwed a 10 outlet powerstrip from a server cabinet to the side.
Even fits in the boot of my car =D
There's no justice, just us.

Sammy's bro is making us one so that the decks/mixer etc are sunken into the table and all the cords are hidden

I drew the rough plans and got all the equipment dimensions from the back of the instruction manuals

I'm farken shocking at carpentry though

I can't see myself upgrading for a VERY long time, if ever

I'm not even a DJ, so what I have right now will do me nicely
