SOUND CHECK FINALE @ LAUNDRY // SATURDAY // 2 LEVELS OF FUNK

Well, it's been a good ride, but the powers that be have decided they dont want the funk on a weekly basis down at Laundry. Sucks, cuz numbers have been great...but them's the breaks (pardon the pun). So to finish it off, we're going out with a bang on Saturday January 27th as Sound Check takes over both levels of the Laundry for some serious b-boy action.

Upstairs, Obliveus and others will be joined by 2 bands of the highest calibre, Imaginary Funk Collective & Brassoul. Both play on the soul, funk, groove, acid jazzy, party break tip and should not be missed. Admission will be only a fiver, so get yer booty down to shake it.

Downstairs sees the return of Mr. Lob from his SE Asian tour of duty where he played heaps of gigs to plenty of up-for-it Asians. He'll be joined by a fast moving Obliveus to round out what has been a rad experience these past few months! As always, admission will be free downstairs for this!

Last day of school holidays. Lob will be bumping from here on out. Besides, I dont know who this "OB" is. I'm assuming people are reffering to the fact that I'm OLD and BALDING!

this has been in the works for awhile guys and will be absolutely killer.

Ob1 and I will be bringing in some of the finest funk selectors to keep your rumps shaking for this one.

Many of these players will still be doing 'the get down' but we be getting down even larger in the confines of the 'new laundry'.

Drop any illusions, perceptions, past romances etc from the laundry memory and give the new owners a shot at glory as they strive alongside us to bring you a new nite of deepness...

I was at the laundry last Sat nite for beats working and the sound system and crowd were going off. big ups fellas!

Also with Danny Cool and Andrew James on this first one will be a damn wicked party with each week featuring a stellar cast of selectors.
