Re: bikes
Got myself a Chrome Ivan. Haha, it's massive! Gonna take some getting used to, but certainly built like a tank and I reckon will outlive me.

Re: bikes
Nah, no such thing :) I'm a bit obsessive when it comes to buying new things, I like to do my research! You guys have been really helpful, thanks! Reckon the Ivan looks the goods, if I'm only going to be bring a little stuff I'll just use my messenger, so more space can't hurt, and as I said, could ...
Re: bikes
Could you use the Ivan for a bit of light travelling too? Let's say I went to Thailand for a few weeks backpacking. Would it fill that role well? I'm a bit confused, since it looks massive in the pictures on the Chrome website, but it's only two inches longer than the pawn. How is it when it's not f...
Re: bikes
Nice one guys!! The unintentional consensus definitely makes me think about putting in a little more cash and getting a Mission. Any particular recommendations from that brand? retzie: was wondering whether the pawn or Ivan is a better fit... how tall are you? I'm a 5ft10 male. are all new chrome ba...
Re: bikes

Thinking of something like a Chrome Ivan, but they don't stock any in black at the moment on the Chrome website. Any recommendations for something simila...

Nah, it's helpful. Thanks. Prudency isn't my strong point, so I should listen since I don't have that much cash, either... Re: bikes
Hey guys I've got an average single-speed commuter, but it doesn't ride that well and the gear it is in makes it tough to go up hills (I'm pretty unfit too). I'm going to start riding to work, about 10ks each way, so I'm wondering whether to buy a second bike, more of a road bike with gears so I can...

Hey guys I'd like some recommendations for a bike seat. Basically it's for a single-speed commuter, a flat-bar road bike. I'm a bloke. FS and autumnleaves: it sounds like what you are trying to say is "cockheads are really annoying." Doesn't really matter if they are on a fixie, dragster or magic flying carpet. there's a difference between ethics and etiquette.. etiquette is manners - social codes. ethics is a system of doing good. you can have good etiquette, without being ethical, or vice versa.. i.e. belching at a fancy restaurant, or not putting the toilet seat up, isn't unethical, it might be just bad...
