Re: bikes
Interesting takes on the LBS vs online thing I shop online heaps, but also have an exceptional relationship with my LBS. I bought my bike there, they know me by name and always give me ridiculously good markdowns (often more than half off) on stuff like tyres, tubes, c02, lube, bidons etc. They wer...

Recommendations for road shoes. SIDI looks the goods but exxy. has anyone had Lake shoes before Exustar, Diadora or Shimano any good? SIDI are supposed to be the business, but yeah - expensive, and some of them are pretty garrish - which is surprising for an Italian shoe manufacturer.... :teefnilly...

You say you understand the argument... do you? Your response doesn't really address my point. I'm not saying you have to buy from a LBS. I just think it's rude to go into a local shop and waste the time and resources of a salesperson and store on advice, fitting, etc (which you claim you don't want ...

Melbourne Beats, or MB.com, was the baby and brainchild of Melbourne beatsmiths, Lucas Chan and Lynt. Local broken beat aficionados rejoiced, a community was born, an online hang-out for those...

Not really. Smaller venue = less people. Gotta pull the money in somehow. Personally I'd rather a smaller, more intimate show, if it wasn't going to be packed to the rafters, inside on a possibly hot day (which it might very well be).Nefertiti wrote:50$ for the tiny Laundry...That's a bit excessive I reckon.

^ pretty sure you can plug the transmitter into any speakers, if you have the separate wireless system that allows you to do so. But, I'm not going to bother with wireless after that I've heard. I'll just buy a rug and put the wires under that, no biggie.
