Re: Soundsystem Culture. Can it flourish in Australia?
I'm curious.. don't know much about this so forgive obvious questions. What is the advantage of having a soundsystem? Is it just better quality sound? I'm presuming that these soundsystems in Jamaica were used in replace of established clubs? I'm just not sure what sort of purpose they would serve h...

Re: $950 most likely coming your way, courtesy of the Govt.
completely forgot about this little bonus. I reckon it will be spent one of four ways for me:
1. new bike
2. new bass guitar
3. visit my skydiving instructor friend in byron bay and go for my first jump
4. actually buy decent food for a couple of months.
I'm thinking 2 or 3 at this stage.

Marky at the Prince about 5 years ago converted me to DnB. Enough said. People were fucking crowd surfing!! At a DnB gig!!! Out of control. Probably still to date the most energetic, feel good dnb gig I've been to. By some crazy act of god I have class on the next day, but the more I think about it,...

I don't get it.. doesn't the conductor just make sure that the orchestra is following the music together? What does it matter who is conducting, it's not like they're writing the music is it?

Hey folk I'm a guitarist (but can do a bit of other stuff) interested in starting/joining a band/livething.. I want something that is quite live focused, but still uses electronic elements. So for example, having a live drummer would be really cool, but would also still be interested in using sample...

I didn't realise that Stamina was that annoying! You're totally right.. It can't be that I was just wasted when I see them play.... or can it?
Is that actually a delay on his voice or is he just repeating the end of the sentence? Either way it's really annoying. Conrad does it so much better.
