SEM is part of what we do as an overall scope with clients - difference is we work on larger clients (ie ad spend between 10-30m annually) across all channels (ie TV, internet, mobile, outdoor etc) and reach local is about sme type operations and focussed solely on search. kitty - that role is at a place called reachlocal. it's been brought to Oz by a guy called Daniel Petre - he is ex msn/microsoft and is also a director at netus (who are responsible for defamer.com.aul gawker.com.au) I would question the salary - there is no way a cold calling SEM sales ex working f...

Have to disagree there dude ... there are loads of more pressing and legitimate concerns than a 2am lockout that in reality impacts about 0.1% of the wider population. I think positive improvement on issues like health, infrastructure, education, workplace relations, policing etc are the pillars th...

Re: Whats up with all the "Scensters"?
Far out there are so many scenesters around at gigs. It seems like all of these people are only there cause its a "cool" place to be. Especially drum & bass. Oh yeh like lets all buy our clothes from a particular shop cause thats where dnb people buy their clothes. Whats up with that ...
the thing about myspace that has always mazed me is the enduring popularity. the site falls over every time i have used it, but people stick with it. an intriguing contemporary phenomena, for the user loyalty alone. i think it was because there was no alternative. people put up with IE until Firefo...

I have experienced a similar phenomenon in the past fortnight also. Its entirely possible that Facebook usage has just clocked over some sort of networking tippi...
must admit i have used it and don't mind it - still think it is missing some of the things that make myspace popular (ie unitiated music play, band/musician buy-in and ability to make your page look ugly). Facebook is great for us logical types but I think the juniors need it to be a bit more haphaz...

emma's boring spiel when she left really made me wonder why she signed up for the show in the beginning. Especially as her father had a terminal illness and had limited time left ... jeez what a fkn good sport she is! I guess she now has the platform to launch a good 6-8 months of ralph/zoo centrefo...

Australian one-hit wonders the Avalanches have to lol not a surprising outcome considering kool keith is a crackhead and has been selling pretty half baked vocal loops to rubbish bands/producers for years to pay the bills (ie GT and Gerling and whoever else had some cash to buy a vocal hook) would ...
