cafe of year goes to APTE in fairfield. pretty damn good. 538 Heidelberg Rd, Alphington, Victoria, (03) 9482 2991 Simple and good cafe with GREAT service and staff (for mrj :P) northern soul. nice little spot w great coffee.. northcote if u out that way .. mart 130s not bad either, but defo not best.

Elly W & K are just awesome. loved the (cant remember the name) square in the centre of both cities. mad break dancing and music and show/carry on. restaurants OUTside these squares are the winner as they arent so touristy. sorry names etc escape me... mmm peirogi... with the mad bacon sauce.. ....
