I dont understand why the CDJ900 is in such a different price bracket. Essentially the same machine, but has slip mode.. which the 2000 doesnt. I dont think advanced looping features are worth an extra $700.

CDJ2000 & 900 can be linked via network with absolutely no issues, external HDDs can be used but data transfer rates will obviously be slower than using a 32gb SD card or thumb drive.
