Re: Tours, promoters and crews
How can you make that assumption when you have never worked with that particular crew?
And, if the crew that you usually work with do not pick up the show in that particular state, shouldnt it be open to those who support that music, and can throw a monster, if not better show...

Tours, promoters and crews
To the crew who care, dont want this to sound like a rant, yet it concerns me.. Recently some people/crews that I work with have been attempting to bring out a tour for a Melbourne leg. The response we got pretty much was 'we dont work with any other crew instead of 'such and such' in Melbourne'. I ...

Serato slammers seem to think a hard drive is neccessary, whats so ridiculous about an external drive? :) I cant wait to try and play over 100 songs in an hour set. Totally do-able. I can now see why you need a laptop, the crowd demand a eclectic range of rnb, soul, classical, and indie and we must ...

I wonder if you could plug in an external hard drive via USB? makes sense that it should work. 1TB PER CDJ BWAHAHAHAHA!!! That would be ridiculous. I dont understand why the CDJ900 is in such a different price bracket. Essentially the same machine, but has slip mode.. which the 2000 doesnt. I dont think advanced looping features are worth an extra $700.

According to internal genious'... CDJ2000 & 900 can be linked via network with absolutely no issues, external HDDs can be used but data transfer rates will obviously be slower than using a 32gb SD card or thumb drive. I'm not sure if there are storage capacity limits but I dont believe there wou...

Re: dagwood dogs?
In Australia, a hot dog sausage on a stick, deep fried in batter, is known as a Dagwood Dog or Pluto Pup/Pop or Dippy Dog, depending on region. Variants exist that use wheat-based or corn-based batters.[10] These are not to be confused with the British and Australian battered sav, a Saveloy deep fr...
