was fucking awesome!! had so much fun. my missus twisted her ankle bad on the first night, and I couldn't find the campsite for 5 hours in the dark but apart from that was perfect.

so frikkin hot today and yesterday! props to everyone I bumped into.

was an amazing party. great crew. a few giantly epic displays of natural phenomena such as the world's craziest dust storm on the first night.

oli after three days at rainbow everyone looks like a hippy. you would too.

highlights -
we got the only campsite with a huge tree, and the ger set up, and i swear every year we are sending crew up to work two weeks early to do the same thing...

friday opening blessing and welcome to country was really special

sketch city was hilarious, went from graff n stencils (yay to at least helping tim's camp with their flag, that was the only real thing i did all wekeend work wise hahah) to free for all body painting and french guys unloading an entire can of yellow paint into one guys head. I said ' you realise that will not come out' and they went 'is okay!" and sprayed each and every hair on his head.

and that was on friday. 3 days of dust n sweat later....heheh dicks.

fun with aroes + many others on saturday at spoonbill n tipper (only people to make the meet up was aroes and uly, nice one guys hahah)

the pinwheel sculpture made out of spoons, the projections on the mountain, robin mutiods fire towers on the main stage...

musical wise- i still hate trance....and every DJ plays a little trancey prancy when they play at rainbow...i didnt even go right into mainstage, my crew avoids it pretty much...
but Dave Chestwig - fun
Hans Dc - also fun
Spoonbill - fucking awesome
tipper- melted my brain (fun)
JPs & Nam - rocked it yesterday
there was others.....i cant recall....hahahah

cant wait for next year already.

back to reality....hard. sitting at a computer feels a bit wrong

sry failed at the sketch meetup, rarely had a concept of time

partied way more during the day than the night this year, was so bloody cold

one night act i enjoyed was infusion, sick! great energy and live tunes. few ppl around campsite were bagging em out the next day about the quality of vocals/singing and stuff, but meh i've always been a fan and it was great to see a proper live act on the main stage

spoonbill+tipper, general sat/sunday market stage messiness complete with free bar, and babicz (so much tasty 303!) were definitely the other highlights for me.

plus the food, amazing light shows at always, and the projections on the trees/hill/playground tent were rad!

was all about saturday arvo for me..........tipper was good, mad professor was FUCKING AWESOME

sunday shenanigans were fun too, with pham and callander smashing out some proper techno vibes

oh and forgot to mention how good the new site was

access to the forest was sweet, a walk up the big hill was the best way to start the morning

and on the opposite end of the site, the panoramic views from atop the granite hill were well wicked

by far the best site i've seen. picturesque and well set out. hope they stick with it for years to come

abakus dj set was awesome.
spoonbill was rad.
tipper saturday arvo was rad.
sensient and terrafractyl on saturday night were the best.
all sunday main stage excellent.
sun control species monday morning rad.
nangs on the dancefloor.
permanant dunnies were pretty rad. cept when they were full.
all rad! everything sounds so awesome when you're in a paddock.

that epic fucking projector on the hill was amazing. thing took about an hour to warm up.

big ups not getting sunburnt for the first time. big ups the Portuguese chicken burgers. thanks GK for helping us with our galactic empire flag. large downs to the dutch profanities mofos never opening their stall. large downs also to friday night hurricane.

BU to the crew that did this. Great fun.

Got very very lost for about 4 hours that first night, epic wind, mad.

BU to Infusion, I thought they were freakin awesome enjoyed everything I heard, you could tell they were having a freakin blast.

Also BU to Sunday early morning sets, the light shows were just incredible, big props to Rainbow light show.

Some incredible tunes at the main tent Sunday late morning to afternoon. Had fun with crew at the edge of the dancefloor with the chairs.

Was freakin buggered but slept quite well Sunday night. Came to uni an hour or so after getting back to Melbourne. Not too bad.

Spewin I missed Abakus DJ set. SPAZZY SPEWIN BAAAAH!

Good vibe all up. Well done.

Crazy event of the weekend - Sitting on the hill behind the market stage just after Tipper's set, we spot a very monastic looking man wearing his finest Tibetan robes.
He stops right next to us, and in a smooth motion pulls a camera with a MASSIVE telephoto lens out from nowhere, and goes into the perfect photo taking stance. Before we even can even think to take a photo of him, he is gone... We dubbed him the photo ninja.

Also, some guy wearing a smoking jacket, tumbling out of the toilets near our camp, and saying to me 'Mmmmmmm very clean, no smell!'

Tipper's set was the highlight for me, but the vibe was just amazing and friendly and the food was great too!

exactly my point! it was worth the wait even tho mad professor was a bit disappointing for mine and was clearly not giving a shit while he was filling in the extra half hour...

i heard from someone something about an oz version of burning man, did anyone cotton onto that? (that cardboard statue near the market stage mustve had something to do with it)

didn't realise that tune was even abakus playing, didn't know who was, i remember it being insanely good tho especially that vocal breakdown part..beautiful stuff

meant to catch liquid soul but couldn't get up before 9am

need to do more all nighters next time

Had a ball, despite "twisting" my ankle walking into a tree stump Friday night. Tipper was good fun, viewed from my banana lounge by the market stage. Mad prof was great. Infusion were awful I thought. That guys voice was off! Took lots of good pics which will post later.

Only bumped into Illupa & his lovely missus which was fun.

Finally decided had to get ankle checked on Monday, turned out to be fractured oops. Can testify to painkilling qualities of acid, lots of laughs.

Defo back for next year

That was epic- best festival ever.
Stomach muscles still full of lactic acid from all the laughing.
Music was sick- Tipper/Spoonbill/Opiuo ripped it, chill stage had some lovely surprises (even caught a set of abstract hiphop).
Missed Antenae, had to set up for my set- anyone see him?
Sorry didnt do the catchup- lost concept of time on a munted rampage.
