I have a shiteload of vinyl I'm off-loading (2 full crates)- Can't be fuct goin through all names to post, so will sell at garage sale then take rest to North side.
Thought I would give my friends at MB.com 1st dibs though, so if u wanna have a dig pregarage sale gimme a PM.
Rough guide to wats in the crates:
Hip hop- early 90s re-press, Quanuum, Stones throw, ninja tune
Funk- mostly complilations, JB repress, quantic, freestyle
Reggae/Dub- mostly Soul Jazz.
Lotta breaks/funk: Dj Idem, Qbert, Swamp, Quantic, Breakin Bread
breakbeat- Fingerlickin, Plank!, Nu poodle, TCR, Heap of white labels, heaps of other ones
Other rouge sounds.
Might have a glance tonight to give a better idea

Yeah, I understand. I guess it's a viscious circle: record shops close because djs aren't buying; the few djs that are buying go via the net because all the record shops have closed down.

I don't really dj so the only music I buy is what I REALLY want and most of that isn't elctronic so it's a shitload easier for me to be a vinyl nazi. Most heartening thing in that article was the numbers indicating music sales falling for every medium EXCEPT vinyl.

Good read QR.

I haven't had a vinyl fix all year. I'm gonna blame it on my holiday in UK.
Can't wait for payday. I've been listening to Jesus Lizard, Rachaels, Kepone and other wicked noise bands that I haven't heard for ages.

Yeah, keen to hear the new one. Also looking forward to new My Disco which is due later this year.
In the meantime I'm enjoying the privilige of working with some good friends and helping them record their first release, possible EP or something longer maybe. They're called Use Of Weapons and even though I'm biased through knowing them, I reckon they've got a good solid sound - cross between Deathpunk and classic dirty rock with some edgy metal riffing in places.

Missing Link have a bunch of Bruce Milne's cast offs atm
Lots of Cramps rareities, old alternative stuff etc.
I got a couple, pretty cheap etc. .
Worth a look for collectors.

Missing Link are always worth a look. Not quite as much vinyl as they used to have, but I always walk out with great wax and a slimmer wallet.

Basement
405 Bourke Street

or browse they old shit online - http://www.missinglink.net.au/
