After a short break the mighty Heartical HiFi's Basement Sessions return for three episodes only at the Night Owl Bar, Melbourne. 1 May, 5 June, 3 July.

Basement Sessions is Melbourne’s most unique and innovative underground music event. The night focuses on traditional reggae and dub soundsystem culture rather than a line up of DJ sets or live bands. These all night dance party’s happen at the Night Owl Bar - an old underground bank vault deep in the city now converted into a friendly night club and music venue with no sound restrictions. Get ready for foundation shaking reggae revive, rootical dubwise and ultra heavyweight bassline hosted by Heartical HiFi - Melbourne’s original custom built high powered sound system and crew. Absolutely essential to all lovers of the music, the emphasis is on upliftment and unity of all tribes.

Many thanks to all who reached the session on Saturday.

The night could of gone either way with all the other things going on that night but fortunately we had a great crowd for this, the Night Owl ram jamed. So it was a good thing to take a break for a while making the massive up for it once again, good to see so many people enjoying the soundsystem vibes. I now understand that Melbourne really needs this, makes the hard work and perseverance all worth while, large up all who support it.

Massive respect to all the Heartical family who contributed to the night.
