Wow. Marky is arguably the best d'n'b DJ and one of the best DJ's across any genre. He smashed it last night at Roxanne's for 3hrs. Only he can pull off droppin and scratchin The Beatles 'Can't Buy Me Love' acapella over a dnb tune!
I never get tired of seeing him perform. He does more than just double drop or triple drop or use 3 decks, 4 decks or whatever. He is an entertainer who enjoys performing and has a big love for the music he plays. His energy and vibes on stage are second to none. And with Stamina on mic duties, its the best 1-2 combo in dnb, hands down.

Big Ups Marky and Stamina!!

I agree with that guy ^ ... seriously, Marky is easily one of the best DJs in the world and personally, for me, the best DnB DJ in the world. No doubt. :)

Totally agree with Nam and Jerry. That performance was amazing. I was SO tired and needed to go to bed, but physically couldn't leave. He's the master.

Several days later and I still smile when I think about the mood this gig put me in. Such soul in the room - so much fun on the dancefloor, instigated not only by the jams rolling over the room but the vibe from the mic.
Best Marky gig for me is still at Audio in Brighton circa 97 i think - but Friday was different, with a relatively small crowd just felt like a bit of a gig with mates and jamming, having fun with it, low pressure, high fun.
Cheers again Opratives - great hosts as well.
