RUDIMENTAL [UK]
There’s no doubt about it, British electronic outfit Rudimental have arrived. And in style!
Their smash hit single ‘Feel The Love’ blazed into the UK charts debuting at number 1 on both the single and dance charts. Now they’re making some serious waves down here in Oz – ‘Feel The Love’ is currently sitting happily at #1 on the I-Tunes singles and the I-Tunes dance charts AND #3 on the ARIA singles and national airplay charts!

The London based 4 piece have had their feet firmly planted in the underground music scene for sometime. Hailing from Hackney (a veritable hub for all things underground), the boys have crossed paths with some of the great pioneers of their craft over the years such as fellow East Londoners Plan B, Professor Green and Labrinth to name a few.

Now the London based lads get set to bring their anthemic electronic soul down under for the first time playing a string of intimate DJ sets. Feel The Love, already a favourite on Triple J, is gearing up to be a massive summer hit. One thing’s for certain, Rudimental will be dominating dance floors and airwaves alike in the coming months and these exclusive shows are not to be missed. They will sell out!

*Premiered as HOTTEST RECORD IN THE WORLD on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 in the UK*

EMALKAY [DUBPOLICE/UK]
A brilliant and inimitable producer, Emalkay refuses to define himself by anything other than his own musical evolution. From his early years producing grime and garage, right through to 2011 and with the release of debut album ‘Eclipse’, he has continued to break new ground and move forward with each and every track he makes.

A handful of carefully chosen remixes for Pendulum, Faithless and Miike Snow, have opened up the ears of a whole new audience to Emalkay’s music, and as a consequence, a burgeoning DJ schedule has seen him bring his music to bigger crowds, taking in a number of festivals on the way.

SLUGABED [NINJATUNE/UK]
Blending influences both classic and contemporary, from the outermost reaches of dubstep, hip hop and beyond, Slugabed has received unanimous praise for his first Ninja Tune releases since signing to the label last year, amid much anticipation for his forthcoming debut album. Under his Slugabed alias, 22 year-old Greg Feldwick creates music which is at once complex, deep, thoughtful and above all distinctive. It channels the energy of the best of todays bass music, through spacey bleeps and meditative melodies to explore the outermost reaches of electronic music making today.

With an already impressive catalogue of official remixes for the likes of Starkey, Eprom and Kelpe under his belt, he also created his own unofficial version of Pharoah Monch’s classic ‘Simon Says’ which devastated dancefloors worldwide. However, it was arguably his ‘Ultra Heat Treated’ EP, released in 2009 on the prestigious Planet Mu label, that propelled Slugabed furthest into the spotlight, winning him new support and glowing reviews across the board, as well as interest from some of the best cutting-edge record labels around.

"Slugabed is an artist capable of turning great ideas into vast, immaculately enacted and galaxy-spanning visions... stomach shuddering, eye-bleeding, ear- bursting bass music." Clash

IKONIKA [HYPERDUB/UK]
Last time IKONIKA [UK] came here she destroyed nightclubs across the country in support of her highly acclaimed Contact, Want, Love, Have album out on Hyperdub in 2009. Since then she's displayed her un-imitable DJ stylings at some of the worlds greatest electronic music festivals. Still releasing exclusively on Hyperdub & her own label Humm & Buzz (Brenmar/Dro Carey) Ikonika just dropped her new EP "I Make Lists".
