Ok DJ’s, It’s time to get warmed up and get in locked for a fresh competition. This next event is going to be epic! and you could be performing at it... check it out here: https://www.facebook.com/events/929172630433533/

DETAILS:
Email: “[email protected]” with a link to a downloadable, 20 min (max), 100% Drum and Bass DJ Mix. Include your DJ name, contact phone number and a track list. Entries close 11pm Sunday 11th of October 2014. Entries that don’t meet the criteria will be excluded.
The best 3 mixes will be posted on the “Get Up Smashes It - Energize” Facebook Event page* on Monday 13th October to be judged publicly.
The mix with the most Facebook likes by 11pm Sunday 19th October wins.

**** FIRST PRIZE ****The winning DJ gets a 1 hour slot at Get Up Smashes It - Energize, Saturday 25th of October 2014, a guest slot on Kiss Fm’s “The Rewind Show” (hosted by DJ Meltdown) and $100 PRIZE MONEY!!!

**** SECOND PRIZE **** The runner up DJ gets a guest slot on Kiss FM's "The Low Range" hosted by JMC and a £20 Redeye Records or Juno gift card.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
Mix length must not be longer than 20 minutes. Only 100% Drum and Bass tunes are allowed. Half time tunes should be avoided or minimal within the mix.
Mixes must be done using turntables, CDJ’s or a Midi Controller (with Serato/Traktor is ok). Please note that only Technics 1200's & CDJ2000's will be setup on the night of the event. If you are not confident using either one of these then please don't enter the competition.
No “Paid” likes are allowed.
Entries that don’t meet the criteria will be excluded.
Our last competition entrants got great exposure on Facebook and also Mixcloud, ranking as high as 12th in the Dnb chart, 15th in the Drum And Bass chart and 38th in the Drum & Bass chart... GET UP SMASHES IT IS BACK!!!

Yeah, we smashed it in April, we smashed it in July, and now we’re taking it next level in October with “Get Up Smashes It - Energize”.

We’ll be reppin the big tunes, liquid vibes, jump up dance floor killa bass energy. Keep it locked for a host of tunes we’ll be posting up to give you a taste of what’s to come.

New competition launching soon and a fresh line up show casing Melbourne’s best good time, energize, step it up fun style DJs.
