Cheers guys.
This is why I came back from the UK instead of leaning on my brothers bar until my liver failed.
Now I just need to make the right impression in the interview.

Ahhh childhood memories relived, but now includes beer! w00t!

They took the roof off the stand so we're reminded that there's heaps of commission flats nearby. lol.

Liz, They were more specific to the current situation with our office relocating.
How do you perceive the dynamics within the team changing with a new manager, how can I be part of that, what expectations do you have of the successful candidate?
Will there be opportunities for specific training available?
How will the focus/ emphasis on KPI's and behavioural management change with all the new staff?

agreed that four tet essential mix is pretty rad. was listening to it last night at the gym.

opening track "souls" is killer too, couldn't help but download it last night.

don't know about it being the best set I've ever heard tho.

It's a game we all get better at playing. The best expereience I've had for job interviews is being on the other side of the desk andinterviewing people, know I know what they are looking for when they ask certain things.

Theres heaps of online stuff too...

the key with that stuff is also don't over do it.

most interviewers can detect when they are being fed answers that they want to hear.

much better to be yourself imo.

Thats what the HR manager told me. They want to see you give answers from experience or based on how you think you might approach a situation.
If they think you are bullshitting or sayin rehearsed lines they will throw a curve ball question to unsettle you.

I was gonna suggest the MB.com resident expert on HR matters would have good advice.

i'm working on that, i used to say i am to much of a perfectionist with work, and found it hard to let go. wank wank

now i say i previously used to start a new job and be all - ideas person and how to make things better which is not always well received, but i need to sit back for a bit and see why things work the way they do. Less bull in a china shop.

i enjoy the 'serious career talk' if doesnt work out then leave or revert to old posistion. can be scary though, very fine line between gentle (relentless) pushing and coming off like a smug dickhead.

bai guise, can has more holiday at busy time? can have more 'sabbatical' instead of training n00bs teh technicals (aka F11 help menu)?
was going to stay in melbourne but there arent ANY decent places for rent it seems. at all, and its winter now. good raevs though.
