Weight off your mind :dancing:

Big ups:

- Fruit bat nearly finished. Scalpel blade cuts + hydrogen peroxide = Ouch, plus now I'll never be a hand model. My bat skeleton has a wingspan of more than 1/2 a meter and her finger bones are long, alien and beautiful. Going to have her hanging upside-down in an antique bird cage.
Image

- Two mad things on tomorrow night; friend having an exhibition opening followed by some sort of BMX thing at Revs lol.
I wanted to be a hero. I wanted to be the center of attention. I wanted the glory, I wanted the fame. I wanted the pretty girls to come up and say, "Hi, I see that you're good at Centipede."

Big Ups catching up with Alice, Martina and Tom last night in Berlin... great kids they are!

Big ups to the most randomly organised festival trip... was looking for a lift to Prague on a rideshare website and found these germans with a spare spot to http://www.ozorafestival.eu with a 2 day spot of camping next to some lake in some country on the way from Berlin to Budapest...
The festival is like rainbow serpent, cant friken wait... haven't even met these dudes, but they seemed cool on the phone... and the fest looks SICK!!! 5 days of music, area is open for a week.
After fest I will be getting in a mates car to drive from Budapest to Croatia stopping in Slovakia and some other places too... yay, Euro road trips!!!

Thank you! I'm feeling very positive and liberated atm. :D

YI - a few different things but the most interesting is helping establish a vocational training/micro finance project in fairly remote area of the state. we have the infrastructure so we're partnering with a couple of other NGOs in the area to implement a program for the villagers where they can receive training and then access loans to establish small businesses, and we may also set up a clinic as there's nothing in the area. in a few weeks we're having a meeting with the community to ascertain what they want and how we can help, so being involved from the start is quite exciting.

Also, BU to getting the full Adobe suite. toot!

Lolz BUs to level 2 First Aid refresher course with 9 co-workers.

Poor dude taking the course was so over us by 4.30 pm. People correcting him on chemical reactions, giving him shit cos he kept on saying 'isn't that nice?' at the end of every sentence (even when some worker from a plastics factory was all 'my co-worker died two weeks ago at work'), calling him a junkie cos he was saying how good pethidine is. Nurse in the course telling him we should just let most people die cos they are fucking morons and deserve it, response to 'what do you do if someone has something sticking through their eye socket into their brain' was 'take a photo and post it on facebook', response to 'who do you call if there is a major accident and there's people covered petrol everywhere' was 'The EPA'.

My head aches from laughing all day.
