BU my Nan (and the incredible life she led), who passed away in her sleep at 7:50pm last night. 86 years old and a motherfuckin' Iron Lotus all the way. I reckon she would've been sitting up trying to blow her nose to get the cancer out most of the last few weeks.

downs to the fact that my father's mellowing has been due to cancer, but i have waited for this for YEARS, patiently waited, and now i think we can finally talk to each other with respect and not the over intellectual/"my generation knows more than yours", "why are you making the same mistakes as me", "you have a brain why dont you use it" bullshit that has plagued me my entire life.

now for insurance, am thinking RACV or AAMI. Just getting 3rd party with fire and theft. i bought a fairly cheapy car, so no point spending heaps on insurance. insurance will end up costing more than the car in a few years lol

Starting a new university course soon, got a new job in the field I want to get into, got a new bike that was exactly what I wanted, and this will be my first Christmas at home with the whole family for a couple of years. After a really shitty year, things are finally looking up for now.
