Our domination of world cricket was good while it lasted, but all things must come to an end.

C'mon AFL season 2009!

nah i think you can get midstrength at the g.. except in the "naughty" bays..
if you're right up the top in the old ponsford stand i think it is, you can get heavies..

getting thumped again :(
our 2 decades of domination are over i reckon..

Mid strength at full strength prices.

Shithouse.

Paid $5.40 for a plastic cup of mid last year.

BUT... you can buy full strength spirits and wine, go figure... rip-offs!

Blew around $100 at my first one-dayer last year, and was hardly pissed.

The tip is to run over to the pubs before, at lunch and after the games.

The two days that have passed in this Test are the reason I love this game. Not just because the Aussies are back on top, but because here you have a game, a test, that pins people against each other of 5 days, in a physical and mental battle. Tactics, slight changes in field placement, get a wicket, change to a really agressive field placement, a individual starts getting an innings going, different tactics for him and the guy at the other end, shifting all the time, and hard to say "who is winning". Just a brillant sport TBH. Looking forward to sitting down over the weekend and drinking some beer, catching up on some rest, and enjoying the game.

If we loose I'd say they will drop him, if we win, he'll probably get another chance. Pretty long run of bad form.

Just did a quick score check 4/110 - looks like we will take this one down, given their tale does not hold up the way it has in last two matches. Would be a great day to be at home.

yeah, still gets spoken about a lot, but the number of times the man would go out in that last over sorta shelved the concept I think. Hope it goes down to last hour so I can see a result.

5/170 just need to knock de Villiers off to ensure smoother ride. not safe till the dog is shot in the leg.

edit - 6/172 but still not de Villiers.

got him. And Australia will retain the no.1 spot in the world. 3 hours of play on a 5th day Sydney wicket, if they hold out they deserve to take it. (although i think in a draw we keep it?)

What a wicked series. One for the books. And great to have a win at the end. Respect to Smith.

I think the Aussie 1 Day side is going to be in some strife TBH. Some of these new kids probably not up to the job of the intensity of 1 day internationals. But they will learn.

watching the twenty20 tonight, looks like we will win, but gotta say im pretty pissed off that someone
in the crowd shone a green laser in the eyes of one of the South Africans eyes as he was trying to catch
Hussey out (i think)
The game was already pretty much won but fucking terrible to see.
Also could not believe the commentators didn't mention it even though the replays clearly show the laser in his eyes
just at the moment of catching.

I heard about that laser incident this morning Al. Didn't see it last night though. Shithouse though.

Interesting game though.

I thought we were going to lose 10 overs into our innings.

Poor ol' Warner had so much expectation on him it was hard to see him living up to it. Good on M. Hussey for a 'striking' return to form, Punter and Bear White did well too - especially that one over where White hit 4 or 5 4's. Nice bowling from Bracken too. I thought Tait bowled well, but his pace worked against him... if that makes sense.

Great game, love a bit of the ol' Twenty20 action on a school night.

Didnt see the laser thing, saw him drop the catch, didnt know why. Probably didn't mention it because that is like advertising for other poeple to copy the idea. Best the didn't.

His catch a few over earlier was a ripper though, one of the best I have seen.

TBH - commentating was absolutely disgraceful.

Brayshaw can stick to footy. And even Warnie and the other clowns were fucking up cricketers names, incorrectly calling who had been dismissed etc.

it wasnt the catch that Dumminy dropped where he came in too far then had to jump backwards, it was one a bit later where the fielder dived to his right for the catch, you can see the laser all over the ground around him, then in the slow motion replay you see it shine smack in his eyes a split second before the ball hits his hands. Disgraceful

HA we emailed channel nine about Brayshaw, cringe worthy commentating.
