CTCV -- who?

Post by Spicy »

hi dudes, i did a search on this but came up with nothing, so... does anyone on here know anything about who this CTCV person/group is..? i figured there's a few street artists on this board so maybe someone has some idea.

if not -- CTCV seemed to have come to the southern side of the river and toyed almost everything between malvern and richmond. this is annoying because there were some AWESOME pieces of work on that line, and now they have all been destroyed.

has this happened anywhere else in melbs?

i want revenge.

used to be CTSA which was Cops Trashing Surburban Art.

But then they were just rumours and most of the time it was just other crews tagging with thier wrong hand over other crew pieces.

I dont think it was every actually cops, just wankers.

well on the walls between richmond and flinders street someone wrote "CTCV = Corrupt Connex workers" or something like that. i thought it was just someone else bagging em or just some wanks.

its been said it means cops that catch vandals, but others have said they arn't actually pigs, but just gronks out for a little bit of cheap fame, and i have seen a ctcv piece, so really its all very confusing.

but when they did bomb jolimont walls with mts disses i laughed a lot.

i wasnt arguing.
i was having a convo bout this the other day is all, and found it funny that if it is cops, they even acknowledge the fact that the art is 'sick' then fuck it over.

dunno if cops would be stupid enough to do this honestly. it's pointless, except to piss off people like you and me.

Why would cops trash "sick" art? thats saying it is good in a round about way. Back in my day it was Cops Trashing Shit Art. Maybe someone can go to Moorabbin CIU and ask one of the DSG coppers what it stands for :smt006

eshay

they'll get bored after a while when they(dsg's) realise they are fighting a losing battle, or get caught, but in reality as if anything would happen to them if they got caught in the act by other officers.

Often wondered what it stood for.
It's on pieces, throwups and tags the whole way from Footscray to North Melbourne.
I'd say they're still on the rampage. Who ever "they" are.

nice! some of the bits between sth yarra and armadale were classic ... used to live out armadale, always loved a gaze out the window. used to be some tasty bits between east richmond and burnley too, but mostly gone.

Hey peeps
I cant believe that ctcv were run by cops I was on the Sydenham line as usual today then went on the sandringham (Which was a first) i cant believe how many great pieces are on the sandringham line. I though eastern suburbs was a bunch of rich kunts but when looking out the train window i couldnt help see CTCV and i was like WTF!! this is fukd so many great pieces with this shit through em its on the Sydenham line as well. Ive neva gone out spraying before (for starters i can only do it in my book @ school cuz im pretty shit) but i think i cud do beta than tha cops CTCV, i would ave 2 say nearly all commuters like seeing pieces not just shitty scratchies and tags all ova the train. Ohh btw any one know of "TK" i always see his throwies its always entertains me.
Keep up the good work ppl hopefully one day ill b out there.

mcgrath i hope tk meets you one day and busts your lip open for being red hot, probably already has because you sound like a cop.

sandy line is nowhere near the best line, not enough walls compared to sydenham, frankston and the west lines. open your eyes kid
