Tim Costello Chief Executive of World Vision Australia will open the exhibition.
All photographs at the exhibition will be for sale. Proceeds fund the Australia Tibet Council to be able to continue helping the Tibetan people gain basic human rights and resolve the desperate situation in Tibet. There are exhibition tours by local Tibetans, a Tibetan community picnic for the Panchen Lama on April 25.
Two Women of Tibet films (Australian Special Preview): A Quiet Revolution & Gyalyum Chemo-The Great Mother. Shows their struggle for freedom, social justice, peace & human rights, set against the stunning Himalayas. One screening only 2pm-4.30pm on Saturday May 2, $20 ($15 concession) to see both films.
