It's funny. when u work in a call centre the customer is like the enemy.. Um, hang on .. Ur meant to be my friend..

How much of a difference does it make when you get a good operator that actually knows what they're doing and helps you beyond what you expect...? Sadly, all of those 'good operators' move on to bigger and better jobs as they're too valuable for the call centre.

It was horrible, first three peopel I spoke with really had no idea but tried to help.

Last person I spoke with was a down right cow.

Told me that my conversation with her was practically useless as the division I needed to talk to had system issues and had all gone home and that I should just ring back tomorrow.

Call back time now......

GOTD..... When you finish a hard day at work and are just about to start your long weekend by going to Bass Camp and having a smasher and you get off the train feeling on top of the world and as you walk up to get in your car you see.......

Some fucking rat slag cunt has ripped the chev badge off the back of your VY SS (Read pride and joy) and not only have they ripped off your badge but they have scratched the fucking hell out of the whole area around where your badge used to be, and not just surface scartches you could buff out no, deep dirty down to the metal scratches.

What the fuck are they gonna do with my badge?

Ok, after my rant about gripes i now have one I want to share.

TIGER AIRWAYS

Bought my friend plane tickets to Melbourne for her birthday. Took 2 days of work to spend time with her.

Plane was delayed by 2 hours. Then by a further 10 hours. She spent 12 hours waiting in or around rockhampton airport because she lives over an hour away and had a friend drive her in the morning.

They then CANCELLED the flight altogether. There are no further flights until Saturday night. I had dinner bookings tonight, tickets to a show tomorrow night, and plans to catch up with all of her friends as a surprise on Saturday day.

She is now also stuck at Rockhampton airport at 10pm at night not sure how to get home. She has no money and has been living very skimp for some time.

Tiger Airways have handled the whole thing like a bunch of 5 year olds trying to organise a global referendum.

I am flat out devastated.

I know so many people that have had problems with Tiger.
- i got charged $25 for being .5kg over hand luggage weight
- flight was delayed 3 hours because someone had called in sick ffs
- my mum arrived at the check-in 40 mins before a flight and they refused to check her in because she had missed the cut of by 5 MINUTES! flatly refused to do anything about it so she had to pay $140 for Qantas flight home
- booked a $50 return flight to canberra through their sale, realised i'd fucked up the dates and it'll be $50 each leg to reschedule...forget it.
so many more stories too.

They are an absolute joke of an airline and definitely won't stay in business with the type of customer 'service' they offer. Pathetic really. Cheap only goes so far.

Given the back story, I'd call the Customer Relations Manager and speak directly to someone who might be able to do something for you...or her. Poor lass! They HAVE to understand the gravity of what you've lost because of their delays and cancellations.

I posted a while ago, a please dont fly Tiger comment, you could save heaps of $$$ but in the long run, your going top get bent over at some point because they do NOT give a shit..... and were their fucking Insurance company FFS, which is even more DERRRRRR. Its pot luck whether you get anything like the thing youve paid for, if anything at all.

They only recently got themselves a phone number and good luck getting through to the 4 people that work there. And if they understand English, woaaah look out, your getting the deluxe treatment.

Its very very disturbing. VERY

D, if she had Insurance call me, she could at least get her money back for the flight and I'll do it straight away for you.

tiger is only airline to fly rocky Melbourne dirct. Everyone else goes via Brisbane. Flights cost me 120 return. Next cheapest is virgin 600 return, so no option really. Cheaper to rebook for Saturday. Better be ok.

always true Stray, and normally I would take that. but in this case it was like they actually went beyond the reasonable and common sense and made things more troublesome for themselves and for the passengers. The flight did actually go, but 4 hours before the re-scheduled time of 10:30 and left with only 5 people on baord because everyone had left the airport.

India is a very strange country imo.

Anyway my gripe is with Optus who came over to install the cable at my new house only to find the pole outside my house they need to connect to is condemned and now need permission from the power company to mount it which could take several days. ghey.

I f***ing hate internet cafes, bars, shops anything thats not me sitting at home.

I have heaps to do and its all going to have to wait. Maybe I'll write some dubstep.
